I guide individuals and families through life's hardest seasons with Christian-centered, culturally sensitive counseling — a compassionate space to heal, grow, and reconnect with your God-given purpose.
"My mission is to empower each person to experience transformation, hope, and renewed strength in their life's journey."
I am dedicated to guiding individuals and families on their journey toward healing and wholeness through faith-based counseling. Rooted in Christian principles, I strive to create a compassionate and supportive environment where you can explore your challenges, discover your God-given purpose, and cultivate deeper relationships with yourself, others, and God.
My work centers on depression, anxiety, parenting and caregiver issues, life transitions, self-esteem, multicultural concerns, and substance abuse. Over 15 years, I've worked across community mental health, substance use recovery, and private practice — experience that now shapes a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to every session. Whatever season you're in, I look forward to helping you on your growth journey.
I hold a M.Ed in Clinical Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College (2020) and an M.S. in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, and I'm licensed by the State of Washington as a Mental Health Counselor. I'm currently a Ph.D. candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of the Cumberlands, with research focused on faith-integrated counseling and telemental health equity. Sessions are available online only, so you can meet with me from wherever you're most comfortable.
"A space where you feel seen, challenged, and supported in equal measure."
Effective counseling begins with creating space where you feel seen, gently challenged, and fully supported. I approach our work together collaboratively — your cultural identity, lived experience, and faith are central to how we build a path forward, not add-ons to it. My goal isn't just to help you cope, but to help you develop a renewed sense of purpose and resilience, grounded in cultural humility and compassion.
In session, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior, person-centered, and strengths-based methods — always integrated with a trauma-informed lens and, when it's meaningful to you, your faith. What that looks like is different for everyone, and it's something we shape together from our very first conversation.
From identity and faith to family and stress, therapy here meets you where you are — with a lens shaped by culture, community, and belief.
Every method below is drawn on as needed — integrative, strength-based, and always centered on where you want to grow.
Alongside client work, I'm pursuing doctoral research aimed at expanding faith-integrated, culturally responsive care for the next generation of clients and counselors.
